That's a great news! Welcome back :-)

# System................: INN 2.7.0 Running on Arch Linux
Are you using the archlinux inn package?
I've tried to contact its maintainer (Sergej) last month but did not get
a reply. It seems there is no default crontab shipped with the package
(but I may be wrong) and asked whether one couldn't be added at least
with news.daily, sendinpaths and a regular flushing of cached IP addresses.
There also are useful dependencies to install which do not seem to be
present (like perl-gd, gnupg, libcanlock which is in AUR, zlib).

# Submitting to.........: daily to Top1000.org (top1000.anthologeek.net)
Though still active, I'm wondering whether it is still maintained...
Does anyone know? (If it suddenly stops working, the service may be
definitively down...)

## innfeed.conf
peer theuse.net {
ip-name: news.theuse.net
port-number: 119
}
Maybe with "max-connections: 8" as you say that in your peering card
(default is 2).

## newsfeeds
theuse.net/news.theuse.net\
:Ap,Tm:uinnfeed!
"Ap,Tm,<256000" to match your 256k request.
"innfeed!" instead of "uinnfeed!"?
